Philip Sparke, Robert W. Smith and John Philip Sousa are three composers who span the twentieth century with a wealth of wonderful music.  The Tri-County Symphonic Band will explore Robert W. Smith's "In a Gentle Rain" and play a suite by John Philip Sousa entitled "The Looking Upward Suite."  Our soloist for this concert is Bonnie Denton. Ms. Denton plays euphonium in the United States Coast Guard Band in New London, CT and she will be performing the "Fantasy for Euphonium" by Philip Sparke.
