Erik Geil is currently a senior at Tabor Academy in Marion, MA and has only been studying piano for 4 years. In that short period of time, he has amassed an impressive repertoire and has performed numerous times in recital and at master classes. Erik is a student at the New England Conservatory of Music's Preparatory School where he studies privately with Mana Tokyno and has spent the last two summers at the Kinhaven Music School in Vermont.
Mr. Geil will appear with the Tri-County Symphonic Band on October 25, 2009 performing the world premier of Grammy Award winning arranger Bob Freedman's transcription for concert band of the "Second Piano Concerto in C minor" by Sergei Rachmaninoff.
