TCMA - COVID Policy

The Tri-County Symphonic Band is excited to be able to offer live and in-person concerts to the public. Below outlines our current policies for patrons attending our events. Please return here prior to attending a concert for the latest policy information.

Our policies for both instrumentalists and patrons have been developed to comply with government mandates, CDC guidelines, and the guidelines of the municipalities and facilities hosting our events and are subject to change.

For patrons:
  • Masks are required at all times by all audience members.
  • Social distancing is strongly encouraged within the auditorium, except families may sit together.
  • No food or drinks permitted by concert goers.
  • Proof of vaccination is not currently required - subject to change based on venue, town, state, or federal mandates.
  • If you are unwell, or experiencing cold or flu symptoms - please do not attend the concert.
  • If you have been exposed, or in close contact with someone who is unwell or who has tested positive for COVID - please do not come to the concert. We encourage folks in this category to follow the CDC guidelines, i.e. If you’ve had close contact with someone who has COVID-19, you should get tested 3-5 days after your exposure, even if you don’t have symptoms. You should also wear a mask indoors in public for 14 days following exposure or until your test result is negative. You should isolate for 10 days if your test result is positive.
  • While waiting for a negative test or self-isolating - please do not come to the concert.
Our wind instrumentalists will be utilizing bell covers and other aerosol and condensate mitigating devices when able and will be wearing masks during extended periods when not playing. Non-wind instrumentalists, and our conductor, will be wearing masks throughout the performance. Instrumentalists must also comply with our policies regarding close contact and general wellness.
