Scholarships & Summer Study Grant Guidelines
The Tri-County Music Association, Inc. is offering conditional scholarships to students attending a four-year college or university as a music major. Summer study grants are also available for high school students who wish to further their musical experiences through advanced lessons, clinics, or other projects deemed appropriate. Students’ families must be residents of the Tri-County area (Bristol, Plymouth, Barnstable).
Previous applicants/recipients may reapply and it is strongly recommended that you provide new/current references with your new application.
Applications are due in early April.
Deadline specifics will be released in early 2024 for the upcoming award cycle.
Selections and notifications will be made in May. Scholarships will be awarded following the successful completion of the fall semester of musical studies.
John R. Pandolfi College Scholarship Applications:
Each applicant must submit the following:
- A letter of introduction including your interests and plans for the future. Letters should be no longer than 250 words.
- A resume of your musical background and experience
- Three Letters of reference
- A copy of the acceptance letter from the college you will be attending in the fall. If timing makes this impossible, a listing of your applications with plans to attend.
John R. Pandolfi Summer Study Grant Applications:
Each applicant must submit the following:
- A letter of introduction including your interests and plans for the future. Letters should be no longer than 250 words.
- A resume of your musical experiences both in and out of school
- One Letter of recommendation (Please note: this person cannot financially benefit from this grant)
- Requested amount needed for the project
- An explanation as to what the money will go to and how you will benefit.
